In addition to the core sociology requirements, the stratification requirement and the cultural awareness requirement, criminal justice students must also take:

Both of the following: SOC 390 (The Criminal Justice System), and SOC 495 (Field Experience).

One course from the following pair: SOC 392 (Juvenile Delinquency) or 393 (Criminology).

One course from among: SOC 414 (Policy and Social Change), SOC 491 (Sociology of Policing), SOC 493 (Sociology of Corrections), POSC 434 (Law, Courts and Politics).

One course from among: SOC 391 (Deviance), 396 (Alcoholism), 397 (Drug Abuse).

Three credits from among all courses offered in sociology and anthropology not already taken to fulfill requirements.
