COMMUNITY STUDIES

In addition to the core sociology requirements, the stratification requirement and the cultural awareness requirement, community studies students must also take:

All of the following:  RS (SOC) 401 (Human Ecology), SOC 459 (The Community), and SOC 202 (Social Problems).

One course from the following:  ANTH 403 (Qualitative Methods), CRD (AP EC) 491 (Internship, Agribusiness & Comm & Rural Development), and RS (SOC) 495 (Field Experience).

Two courses from the following:  CRD (AP EC) 412 (Spatial Development), CRP 411 (Introduction to City and Regional Planning), CRP 415 (Small City and Rural Planning), RS (SOC) 471 (Demography), and  SOC 414 (Policy and Social Change).
